Gorges Dades Gorge Todra The rugged Dades Gorges (east of the city) with his deep and winding canyon is dazzling. Another track from the Agoudal led to Todra Gorge. The road of Todra committed along a lush palm grove bordering the wadi. The show’s most impressive is a narrow corridor of about ten meters high cliffs overhung by two 300-meters. Dades Nicknamed “Valley of a Thousand Casbah”, the Dades Valley is a region much frequented by tourists. One can only deplore the deteriorating state of many casbahs. Fortunately, some sites like the palm of Ouarzazate have stood the test of time. Founded in the XIIth century by Yacoub el Mansour, known for growing its production of roses and rose water, the park contains fine mansions, and the “Casbah Amerhidil” with its delicately carved exterior walls is an element major. As for the capital of the rose, the fortified village of El Kelaa M’Gouna its casbahs ruin still have beautiful ornaments.
