This is a one day excursion trip to Chefchaouen ; After breakfast we will drive … you 3 hours to get to Chefchaouen, one of the most beautiful towns in Morocco. Chefchaouen, the Andalucian town in the heart of the Rif mountains. Whitewashed walls splashed with vibrant blue contrast with the verdant hills surrounding the village. Peace and tranquility are in abundance here, broken only by the sounds of laughing children playing in the sun, their voices echoing through the tiny cobbled streets , is a typical Berber Village. A tour of this blue and white village includes The medina, the kasbah, the museum, the Uta El Hammam square, the great mosque Jamaa El Kebir (15th cent.), the craftsmen centre, Ras el Ma source 3 km/1.9 mi far, beautiful landscape. Try to visit the Moroccan guest house ‘Casa Hassan’ or at least have lunch there. Souks on Mondays and Thursdays. Possibility to organize trekking and canyoning in the hills. Departure through the Rif Mountains back to casablanca for overnight.
