Reserve Oued Massa The 13 000 ha of the Souss Massa National Park allow many … birds (flamingo, ibis bald …) to migrate safely. Haven of peace, this place will also be enjoyed by hikers, it is forbidden to ascend the river walk, you can browse the endless dunes along the coast. On the beach, the marabout Sidi RBAT indicates the presence of an ancient fortified monastery (ribat). Legend has it that the town of Massa would be buried under the sand. It is precisely here that the seventh century AD, the Arab conqueror Oqba bin Nafi had pushed his horse into the waves, taking God to witness that he could go no further! (Recommended period: from March to April and October-November).
